Obituary

Richard F. Fulton, 82, died Saturday July 17 th at home. He was born in Worcester, MA and has lived in South Hadley 51 years. Dick served three years in the Army, a proud veteran who served as a Paratrooper in the 82 nd Airborne Division. In 1952, Dick became an Eagle Scout at 13 years old, the youngest Eagle Scout in Aldenville history. He served in the Knights of Columbus #4044 as a 4 th Degree Faith Navigator and proudly served as a member of the Honor Guard Unit. Richard and Barbara also volunteered at the Holyoke Soldier's Home for 10 years. He worked for US Tsubaki where he started as a tool and die maker and retired in 2002 as a sales representative. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 59 years Barbara (Page) Fulton, his son Robert of Austin, TX, daughter Nancy Bosworth and her husband Clifford of Cedar Park, TX, two grandchildren Brianne and Clifford and a great grandson Carson. Friends and family are invited to the funeral mass on Thursday July 22 nd at 11:30 am at St. Patrick's Church. Committal service with Military Honors at the Mass Veteran's Cemetery will be private. Please no flowers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Knights of Columbus #4044, Bishop Joseph F. Maguire Assembly 2670, 1599 Memorial Drive, Chicopee, MA 01020.
