Robert G. Boisjolie, 65, passed away unexpectedly November 18, 2021 at home. Born in Holyoke on September 24, 1956 to the late Eugene and Rita Boisjolie (Gregoire). From the start Bob had a mischievous streak that persisted throughout his life.

Bob worked in the print plating industry for over 20 years, beginning with Cookson Graphics and ending when Kodak Polychrome shut down operations in the late 90's - staying in touch with many lifelong friends he made there. He most recently worked for Hulmes Transportation where he found yet another work family. Bob loved his jobs and put everything into his work.

Bob had a deep and lifelong love of everything hunting & fishing and though nowhere was "off limits" he would most often be found on the Quabbin Reservoir (Gate 8) or Goss Hill in Huntington. Bob loved Harleys and fast cars (in his earlier years) and then yard work, the woods, road trips, campfires, food, and countless other 'simple things.'  But most of all Bob loved family. Bob leaves behind his wife and life partner Joyce (Williams-Boisjolie), his daughters, Rebecca (Josh Ventrice); Bobbilea (Chris Larrivee); Cassi (Tom Curto) and Jessica (Patrick Reske); his most beloved grandchildren; Bella, Camryn & Jameson, Julien & Oz, and Braelyn & Delaney; and his sister Katherine Picard. Bob also leaves his most beloved Peanut (Pea Pea Head) – his canine sidekick and best friend who is a bit lost without him right now. Also, left to mourn him are countless beloved friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews, in-laws, and friends. He loved you all.

Bob will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor, his compassion, his resourcefulness, and his devotion to everything in his life. He was a happy man with a calmness about him, he was our rock and he is so deeply missed. Peace, Love & Bob. Bob's funeral service will be Saturday December 4th at 12:30 pm at the O'Brien Family Funeral, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley. Calling hours will precede the service on Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
