Robert A. Borucki, 75, passed away on Friday March 3 rd , 2023. Bob was born in Holyoke, son of the late Viola (Mul) and Edward F. Borucki Sr. The family moved to Southampton in 1949 where Bob grew up among his six brothers in a peaceful rural environment. It was during his youth that Bob developed a love of gardening on his grandparents' adjacent farm property and while working at a local vegetable farm . His career plans to attend graduate school on a well-deserved scholarship were derailed as he had lost his student deferment and was drafted. Having keen knowledge of history and a very good memory , he was a formidable opponent in games of Trivial Pursuit ! He was witty, a good conversationalist, had a wry sense of humor, and will be dearly missed. Bob is predeceased by his p arents and his older brother, Edward Borucki Jr. He leaves his brothers , Stephen , Chester and Peter of Southampton, Walter (Kim) of Holyoke, and Paul (Tomoyo) of Rocky Hill, CT; his sister-in-law Marcia Borucki of Meridianville, Alabama , his nephews and niece, Neil, A a ron, Ethan, Koichi , and Aya .
