Robert P. Crochetiere Sr., 70, died early Friday morning in his home. He was born in Holyoke to Alden and Marilyn Crochetiere, and lived in South Hadley most of his life. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church who possessed a great sense of humor, as well as a love for movies and a good meal.  He leaves behind his sister Nancy Cooper and her husband Hank of South Hadley; two sons, Robert Jr. and his wife Bernadette of Holyoke, and James of Chicopee; two daughters Heidi Matusow of Holyoke, and Michelle Crochetiere of Chicopee, in addition to five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including Kelly and Andrew Roberts and Scott Carner; and grandnieces and nephews Ethan, Adam and Emily. The funeral will be Tuesday May 4th starting with calling hours at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley from 10 AM to 12 noon followed by a funeral home service at 12 noon.
