Robert W. L'Esperance , 90, died Monday November 1 st in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Charles and Helen (Kane) L'Esperance and has lived in South Hadley all of his life. He graduated from South Hadley High School and later from UMASS in 1954. He was a communicant of St. Theresa Church and had worked as a manager for Waldbaums Food Mart. Robert served in the Army from 1954 to 1956 . He was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Blanchard) L'Esperance . He leaves a son Robert C. L'Esperance and his wife Christine of Belchertown, two daughters Nancy A. L'Esperance of East Granby, CT and Pamela J. Kellogg and her husband Paul of South Hadley, his sister Lois L'Esperance of South Hadley and three grandchildren Daniel and Marissa Kellogg and Sarah L'Esperance . The funeral home service will be Thursday November 4 th at 11:00 am at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by b urial in St. Rose Cemetery.
