Rose M. Champagne

1921 – 2020

South Hadley – Rose M. (Flaherty) Champagne, 98, died peacefully Saturday in a local nursing home.  Rose was born and raised in Chicopee and has lived in South Hadley most of her life.  Her husband of over 50 years, Andre Champagne died in 1993.  She leaves a daughter Nancy Roberts; three grandchildren Jill Chmiel, Cheryl Boudreau, Ronald Champagne Jr., three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her two sons, Ronald Champagne Sr. and William Champagne.   A private graveside service will be held, and the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For more details and online condolences please visit curranobrien.com.
