Shirley M. Campbell, 90, passed away on Thursday evening at the Arbors in Chicopee. Shirley was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Heinrich and Catherine (Parker) Tack. Shirley spent her career as an LPN, working at Ludlow Hospital for 15 years before moving to private nursing to end her career. After retirement, Shirley and her late husband Merle spent 25 winters in their Florida home.  She was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church in Chicopee and loved spending her time painting, gardening, and loving her cats. She was described by her family as a kind, compassionate and hospitable woman. Shirley is predeceased by her husband Merle, a brother George Tack and a sister, Fay Haas. Shirley leaves behind her daughters; Kathleen Lamontagne and husband Michael of South Hadley, and Kristine Champigny and husband Edward of Agawam, a son, David Dzuris Jr. and wife Ann of N.C., a stepdaughter, Amy Leblanc and husband Steven of FL, a brother Wayne Tack and wife Estelle of South Hadley, grandchildren; Aimee Noyes and husband Mike of Hatfield, Amanda Lamontagne of S.C., Kimberly Lacombe and husband Eric of Westfield, and Matthew Bell and wife Jasmine of Westfield, great-grandchildren; Ari, Andrea, Madison, Faith and Timothy, and a step-granddaughter, Tiffany of Florida. A funeral service will be held for Shirley on Wednesday, February 1 ^st at 10 am at the O'Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 9 to 10 am. Burial to follow the service at West St. Cemetery in Granby.  Memorial donations can be made in Shirley's honor to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at BCRF.org.
