CHICOPEE – Stephanie Parmentier, 95, passed surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday. Stephanie was born May 13, 1924 in Midland Park, NJ. She graduated from Freehold High School in Freehold, NJ in 1941 and relocated to Mass in 1947. Stephanie retired from her position of bookkeeper at Zal's Clothing Store in Holyoke in 1994 when the store closed. She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond, who was called home June 11, 1988. Stephanie is survived by her three children; Douglas Parmentier of Chicopee, Susan Reynolds and Husband Bill of Agawam, and Donna Labrie and husband Gary of Chicopee. She also leaves six grandchildren; Christine Debonne and Husband Mark of Enfield, CT; Kenny Labrie of Chicopee; Kyle, Kevin and Kayla Reynolds of Agawam; and Katie Parmentier of South Hadley; as well as two great grandsons, Nicholas and Benjamin Debonne. Family and Friends are invited to meet for the funeral at the Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam on Wednesday at 11 am. Calling hours will be held at the Curran O'Brien Funeral Home in South Hadley on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
