Sybil "Bubba" (Lefaver) Roy, 75, died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 20 th , 1943 in North Adams to Alfred and Grace Stebbins Lefaver and lived in South Hadley with her family for most of her life. She was employed at Holyoke Health Care (Formerly Buckley) for 34 years. Sybil enjoyed the simple things in life. She spent most of her free time sewing, crafting, and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and an avid supporter of the Alzheimer's Association. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Roy, son Alan Richards, and sister Lucille Braman. She leaves three daughters Robin Plassmann of Ware, Wendy Boulay of Leominster, Alison Lapierre of Chicopee, a brother Robert Lefaver of York, ME, a sister Sally Bohl of Stamford, VT, nine grandchildren Kevin Perrier, Jessica Plassmann, Holly Boulay, Jennifer Plassmann, Kayla Boulay, Ivy Boulay, Ashley Lapierre, Gabriel Boulay, David Lapierre, three great grandchildren Khloe Perrier, Gia Morales, and Emery Kane, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 am from the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley, followed by Liturgy in St. Patrick's Church at 10 am and burial at St. Rose Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to calling hours Thursday 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the American Cancer Society or your local animal shelter in honor of her beloved cat Daffy.
