It is with profound sadness that Kimberly (Stevenson) & Jason LeBlanc announce the unexpected passing of their daughter, Sydney Lynn LeBlanc who died at home Monday, September 26, 2022 prior to her 28 ^th birthday. A Holyoke native, Syd was born, educated and raised in Holyoke and loved by all who met her. She was a witty, smart kind soul with a heart of gold. Her smile could light up the room and she gave so much joy to others. She had a passion for Harry Potter, Anime and music as well as a love of giraffes, so much so it was her nickname. She will be forever missed by her parents, Jason and Kimberly; her sisters, Emily LeBlanc (Andrew Pelletier); Cara LeBlanc all of Holyoke. She also leaves behind her loving fiancé Nelson Balvin and his daughter Sofia of Holyoke and his parents, Nelson Balvin and Julia Mora and their son Bryan. She will be deeply missed by all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved cat Peatu. Sadly, the wedding to the love of her life never took place. In honor of Sydney, the wedding gown she was to wear has been donated to Angel Babies in her memory. Visiting hours for Sydney will be held on her birthday, Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 9-10:45AM at O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley, MA 01075 with a funeral home service at 10:45.
