Wanda (Paradysz) Fields, 99, died Tuesday July 25th surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Chicopee, daughter of the late William and Caroline Paradysz. Wanda has lived in Granby since 1958 and worked as a sewing machine operator for Chicopee Undergarments before having her son. She was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, working Bingo and cleaned the church for many years. She loved to dance and go camping with her family. She leaves her husband Richard R. Fields, her son Richard R. Fields Jr. of Granby, three grandchildren Richard R. Fields IV, Bethany Fields and Danielle Fields and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday July 29th at 9:00 am from the O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by Mass in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10:00 am. Burial in West Street Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday July 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
