Wayne B. Healy, 73, of Granby, passed away on August 18, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center.

Born in Granby to the late Constance (Choiniere) and William L. Healy, Wayne was a graduate of Granby Jr./Sr. High School. He went on to complete his nursing studies at the Pioneer Valley School of Nursing and Springfield Technical Community College, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. A man of faith, Wayne was a devoted parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Granby, where he sang in the choir. He was also a Life Professed Member of the Order of Preachers, St. Dominic.

Wayne is survived by his husband, Kirk Fernette of Granby; his daughter, Kelly Dewall of South Hadley; his grandson, Tyler Healy of West Springfield; his brothers, James Healy and wife Dawn of Granby, and Michael Healy and wife Newth of South Hadley; his sisters, Cheryl Laramee of Holyoke  and Linda Healy of Granby, as well as his beloved shih tzu, Kimba, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces/nephews and close friends.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brothers Robert Healy and John Healy, and his brother-in-law Ernest Laramee.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 PM at O'Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Granby. There will be no burial.
